Position Brand Description:
The Associate Director-Utilities, Facilities and Project Engineering will lead and supervise the Facilities and Utilities Department ensuring processes are compliant, efficient, and effective.
The scope includes Utilities Process Teams, Facilities Organization, and capital projects. Lead Facilities, Capital Projects & Utilities area to maintain operational excellence, optimization and improvement of process, and technical leadership.
Assure the company's compliance with required policies and procedures, regulations and applicable federal and state laws including quality, health and safety and environmental aspects of the business.
Responsibilities:
Participate in the Flow Lead Team and engage in other site developed teams (e.g. Quality teams, HSE teams, CAPA and Deviation Review Boards, etc.)
Be accessible to Utilities Management, Operators, Shift Supervisors, TS/MS, QA/QC, automation, and Process Engineers for consultation on Utilities process issues.
Manage and expand IFM model defined for site services (including buildings and grounds maintenance, cafeteria equipment, uniforms/laundry, pest control, landscaping, security processes, among others as applicable under current model).
Basic Requirements:
Minimum of five (5) years engineering experience in manufacturing site. Managing and/or supervising fields related to utilities, facilities, manufacturing or other related managerial discipline within a manufacturing facility.
Additional Preferences:
Knowledge on Pharmaceutical regulations (e.g., cGMP's, 21 CFR Part 11, Computers Systems FDA and other applicable regulation areas)
Additional Information:
General work to be performed in building's interior with normal temperature, air condition, good illumination, clean areas and minimum hazard. Work duties and responsibilities will involve occasional visits to exterior area, and include high elevations, use of stairs, cold room environments, etc. Frequently enter locations where there is exposure to gases, background noise, dust, chemicals, solvents, grease, flammable substances, and machinery.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$118,500 - $173,800
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
