We are responsible for leading and managing Responsible Business activities, teams, and client service delivery within the Construct, Consult, Operate engine in a global and/or sector-specific market.

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring service excellence with purpose-led, measurable outcomes, focusing on climate change, social value, and biodiversity.
  • Delivering commercial revenue targets aligned with the annual business plan, translating objectives into strategies for profitable and sustainable growth.
  • Managing work-winning activities, bid/no-bid decisions, and maintaining awareness of client pipelines and RFPs.
  • Understanding client drivers and sector standards, collaborating to bring service offers to clients.
  • Providing leadership and strategic direction, developing integrated service offers supporting project management, cost & commercial management, and business advisory services.
  • Reporting on bids and maintaining updated records in business development systems.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders in client organizations, Mace, and partners.
  • Representing Mace at events to enhance visibility and reputation.
  • Ensuring projects are properly resourced with the right competencies, planning proactively for sector growth.
  • Championing sector contributions to business strategy, especially regarding carbon metrics and sustainability goals.
  • Sharing knowledge, project case studies, and thought leadership within the sector.
  • Working collaboratively towards net zero carbon goals, managing associated emissions and reductions during project delivery.

You will need to have:

  • Expertise in Environmental & Social Sustainability.
  • Project and/or Programme Management experience.
  • Business Development skills.
  • Financial Management and Reporting skills.
  • Team leadership and line management experience.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, sectors, and regions.
  • Stakeholder engagement skills across multiple levels.
  • Collaborative mindset to work with various teams.
  • Strong communication skills to present technical topics clearly.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Post Graduate Degree or equivalent).
