About the Role:

We're seeking a strategic and results-driven Associate Director of Marketing to lead our audience growth and engagement initiatives. In this role, you'll develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that expand our reach, deepen our connection with culturally curious movie lovers, and contribute to the continued appreciation of cinematic artistry.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, paid social, search, content, and events & PR, ensuring alignment with our brand and strategic goals.
  • Optimize email marketing campaigns: Manage email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis, to maximize engagement and drive results.
  • Manage paid advertising strategies: Oversee paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Meta, Google Ads, YouTube Ads, and social media, optimizing for performance and audience engagement.
  • Enhance organic search visibility: Develop and implement SEO/SEM strategies to improve organic search visibility and ensure our content reaches a wider audience.
  • Craft compelling content: Create high-quality marketing content, including across our websites, blog posts, case studies, and presentations, that resonate with our discerning audience.
  • Analyze and report campaign performance: Track, measure, and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports on key metrics and insights.
  • Identify and explore new opportunities: Proactively identify and explore new marketing opportunities and channels to expand our reach and engagement.
  • Collaborate with sales and teams: Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment on quarterly and yearly planning and goal setting.

Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for movies and a deep appreciation for the art of film
  • 6+ years of experience in a marketing role, with a focus on demand generation and audience growth
  • Proven experience managing paid advertising platforms (Google Ads, social media ads, YouTube Ads)
  • Strong understanding of SEO/SEM best practices
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Experience with marketing tech stack, particularly CDPs
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus, but not required

Bonus Points

  • Experience with marketing analytics platforms (eg, Google Analytics).

About the position

  • This is a permanent, Full time position with excellent benefits-including medical, 401K matching, and a generous vacation policy. The base salary range is $100,000-$110,000 commensurate with experience. The nature of the work will require you to be physically present in our New York, NY office.
