1. Purpose and Scope The Associate Director Training Program is a means to attract prospective candidate(s) to serve on the Keys Federal Credit Union (KFCU) Board of Directors. This program will provide the opportunity for the Associate Directors to experience the duties and responsibilities of a director during the normal monthly meeting and special committee assignments without voting authority. This program does not guarantee those that serve in the Associate Director program a position on the Board of Directors. Associate Director members interested in obtaining a seat on the board will need be nominated for election during the annual membership meeting.

2. Appointment Procedure
  1. Candidates will submit a questionnaire/resume to the Associate Director Committee that lists, among other things, the applicant's interests, availability, eligibility, background, and qualifications.
  2. Depending on the number of applications submitted, the Associate Director committee can select up to three qualified candidates from the list.
  3. Personal interviews will be left to the discretion of the Associate Director Committee.
3. Terms of Appointment
  1. Appointees will serve a minimum of one-year term.
4. Candidate Requirements
  1. The candidate must be a member in good standing of the KFCU.
  2. The candidate must agree to an KFCU background and credit report investigation.
  3. The approved candidate must adhere to all Keys Federal Credit Union Policies.
  4. The approved candidate(s) will be required to sign the Confidentiality Policy Pledge.
