The Indianapolis Device Assembly and Packaging Supply Chain function provides Materials Management services to production activities in Buildings 150/151 at the LTC-South Campus. The Associate Director - IDAP Supply Chain Customer Service provides leadership to the Site on Affiliate Order replenishment and Make to Stock Processes for our 120 affiliates around the world and provides the direction necessary for the achievement of site objectives for Safety, Quality, Reliable Supply, and financial performance.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
Safety:
- Ensures a safe working environment for Supply Chain employees through:
- Establishment and monitoring of safety-related behavioral expectations. Engagement in consistent and proactive communications to facilitate a "safety-first" orientation to the workplace.
Leadership:
- Provides a challenging and rewarding environment for Supply Chain employees through:
- Establishing and consistently communicating clear performance expectations.
- Providing direct, timely and appropriate performance feedback.
- Coaching in the creation of career objectives and the development plans.
- Establishing ownership and accountability through involving employees in the design and / or implementation of departmental processes and measurements
- Establishing the expectation for and coaching employees in the use of a data-driven and analytical approach to problem solving using available application software (i.e., Excel)
- Establishes and promotes relevant technical skills in the department through:
- Encouraging employees to obtain and apply relevant certifications from recognized professional organizations (i.e., ASCM).
- Ensuring employees obtain capabilities to operate in a self-sufficient manner in the use of the primary business applications (i.e., SAP / APO).
Quality:
- Ensures compliance with all regulations and support of a Quality-orientation by:
- Identification of required training and monitoring of training compliance.
- Ensure execution of all team tasks in accordance with current and relevant procedural documentation.
- Identification and mitigation of Supply Chain process or execution-related causes for quality events
Functional ownership:
- Owns and manages all supply chain process steps from end of production to receipt of material at NALO
- Champions OSSCE Class A performance through adherence to Global Metrics and Root Cause analysis to improve upon supply outcomes for our patients.
- Challenges Supply Chain employees to operate in an environment of continuous improvement through:
- Maintaining current documentation for primary departmental processes (i.e., procedures, job aids, process flow diagrams).
- Establishing performance measurements for key process points and monitoring achievement to established performance targets.
- Standardization of processes to facilitate performance repeatability, sustainability, and maximum use of departmental resources through crosstraining.
- Utilization of prescribed global processes.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related technical field, equivalent practical experience, or a combination of the above.
- Knowledge of SAP as it relates to supply chain transactions and overall processes.
- Experience in supply chain management from a manufacturing perspective.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and achieve results outside own organization.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and often to a broad group of people.
- Demonstrated organizational skills through project management, schedule development, etc.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Experience in developing and coaching people.
- Exposure / experience to procurement processes and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the day-to-day while improving the current situation.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$122,250 - $179,300
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
