We have an immediate need for a direct hire Associate Director, Technology Delivery Management to join one of the nation's largest mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) building systems organizations. The Associate Director, Technology Delivery Management will have a strong application and software development technical background coupled with excellent leadership and communication skills to drive the successful integration and management of applications across the organization.
Location: Garden Grove, CA. Hybrid working 2-3 days onsite per week. Hybrid strongly preferred but will consider remote for the right candidate.
This job expects to pay about $130,000 - 180,000 annually plus benefits.
What You Will Do:
- Develop TDM strategic vision/plans and implement strategic plans for application management and application integration aligned with IT Department and the organization's objectives.
- Lead the end-to-end management of applications throughout their lifecycle, including planning, deployment, maintenance, support and retirement.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust application integration solutions to ensure seamless communication and data exchange between different systems.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of application managers, integration specialists, solution analysts, and as needed developers.
- Evaluate and select third-party vendors and software solutions for application management and integration.
- Define measures to assess the performance and effectiveness of application management and integration processes.
What Gets You The Job:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Eight (8) years of progressive application management and integration experience, including 5 years of leadership experience.
- Strong technical background with expertise in application development, integration technologies (e.g., APIs, middleware), and enterprise software platforms.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Knowledge of industry best practices, emerging trends, and technologies in application management and integration. Knowledge of construction or related industries is a plus.
