Bring your skills as an Associate Director in Electrical Engineering. You will play a vital role in electrical engineering aspects of Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects of electrical engineering across sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. We provide industry-leading engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. We currently have opportunities in our Bristol office.
Your Purpose:
- Own and direct teams undertaking technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Define briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
- Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones and programmes.
- Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Establish quality assurance standards in design.
- Develop and manage electrical engineering capabilities within the practice.
What you can bring:
- Chartered Electrical Engineer.
- Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
- Knowledge of electrical design (LV and HV systems), motor control centres/switchgear, electrical installations in industrial environments, HAZOP assessments, DSEAR/ATEX practices, SLD/BCD production, earthing and bonding, and familiarity with UK standards.
