Job DescriptionWhat We Are Looking ForThe Associate Director/Director of Resource Development serves in the Division of Athletics and reports to the Associate Athletic Director of the Bear Foundation. The position will be apart of the Leadership Annual Giving Team of the Bear Foundation and serve as a gift officer with a primary focus on new annual gifts of $10,000 - $49,999 and increasing current gifts. Additionally, this position is responsible for assisting with Bear Foundation annual fund operations, to include: Day to day ticket/membership operations, event assistance, customer service, premium seating, stewardship, sport-specific fundraising, and financial reporting.
The Bear Foundation is the primary fundraising organization for Baylor Athletics and supports 500 plus student-athletes across all 19 intercollegiate sports. Our mission is to provide scholarship funds for Baylor's student-athletes and to support and promote the interest and welfare of Baylor Athletics.
The generosity of our Bear Foundation members helps offset the high cost of scholarships for Baylor student-athletes, along with many other costs associated with running an elite athletic program. Education and Experience Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree and 3 or more years of experience is required.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
- Donor discovery, qualification, and solicitation strategies.
- Microsoft excel, Paciolan ticket systems, and salesforce experience preferred.
- Quality customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a team setting.
What You Will DoResource Development
- Assist with the planning and execution of the Bear Foundation's leadership annual giving program and is accountable for meeting or exceeding departmental and personal fundraising metrics. Primary focus will be on annual gifts of $10,000 - $49,999
Customer Service and Retention
- Assist with customer service and retention efforts cultivating annual fund giving.
Operational
- Provide event assistance.
Compliance
- Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to all NCAA, Big 12 Conference, and institution rules and regulations and to communicate immediately any possible infractions of such rules and regulations to the Athletics Compliance staff.
Other Duties
- Other program duties as requested by the Director of Athletics or the area head.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
- Ability to comply with University policies.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
