Associate Design Producer


Location: Hybrid in Culver City, CA

Duration: 12 months

Pay: $42.85/hour, DOE (W2 and benefit options)


Planet Interactive is looking for a Associate Design Producer to join our well known Fortune 500 client on a 12 month contract. This role will work 40 hours per week and is hybrid in Culver City, CA.


The Producer team is responsible for all aspects of the project life cycle: identifying customer needs, ensuring clarity of requirements and goals, managing project teams, design reviews, and leveraging the knowledge and creativity of cross-functional partners to bring meaningful solutions to market.


Associate Design Producer Responsibilities:

  • Advance design efforts by working with Senior Producers as a key contributor across numerous projects and initiatives to drive the launch of new features and capabilities
  • Serve as the key contributor behind the sports and TV product design team by keeping the wheels on the track and maintaining momentum across all initiatives
  • Manage project plans and design tasks
  • Facilitate design reviews
  • Distribute notes and follow up on action items
  • Track and manage the delivery of design artifacts to cross-functional partners once the design process is complete
  • Ensure build quality by managing the Design QA process
  • Track and communicate project status across the portfolio
  • Keep project management software updated as schedules and deliverables change
  • Be responsible for generating digestible reporting roll-ups to leadership and partners

Associate Design Producer Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years as a producer within software design or at an agency
  • Basic understanding of UX/UI ideation, execution, and delivery processes
  • Experience with project management software
  • Has a knack for learning new tools and applying them to optimize team efficiency
  • Meticulous attention to detail and top-notch organization skills
  • Shown ability to meet deadlines and get results while juggling many projects and priorities
  • A compelling desire to deliver innovative and exceptional Human Interface design to our customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and ability to adapt to constant change
  • Experience working across multi-disciplinary teams (Design, Product, Engineering, and others)
