Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the success of all academic programs, including planning, development, evaluation, and accreditation.
- Collaborate with program directors and faculty to enhance teaching and learning excellence.
- Oversee Student Affairs and recruitment, focusing on enrollment, progression, and graduation outcomes.
- Lead data-driven initiatives and assessment/accreditation efforts (SACSCOC, SC Board of Nursing, and more).
- Manage the academic affairs budget and engage in grant funding opportunities.

Required Education and Experience:- Holds an earned doctorate in nursing.
- Eligible for unencumbered nursing licensure in South Carolina.
- Meets rank for Associate Professor or Professor for either Tenure Track or Professional Track.
- At least four years of executive academic leadership experience.
- Progressive academic roles such as program director, assistant dean, or associate dean.
- Proven ability to innovate, evaluate programs, and effect organizational change.
- Demonstrated leadership, innovation, and collaboration are highly anticipated characteristics of the Associate Dean of Academics.
