Position Details:

  • Location: Sacramento, CA 95827 (Hybrid - onsite 2 days)
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 80 hours over 9 or 10 days (Every other Friday off)

What You'll Do:

  • Perform project management activities for the evaluation, planning, design, and construction of pump station and pipeline rehabilitation and relief projects.
  • Develop and manage project schedules and budgets.
  • Develop, procure, and manage consultant contracts.
  • Support construction and inspection of rehabilitation and relief projects.
  • Perform technical research, detailed analysis, and comprehensive evaluations.
  • Prepare detailed plans and specifications.
  • Prepare complete and comprehensive reports.
  • Develop procedures and guidance documents.
  • Prepare Board packages.
  • Support public outreach efforts.
  • Prepare and present presentations.
  • Supervise, direct, and develop staff.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with superiors, subordinates, other groups/departments, and the general public.

What We're Looking For:


  • Must Haves:
  • Professional Engineer license in CA (PE) - This is a firm requirement.
  • Strong Project Management experience.
  • Ability to develop and manage project schedules and budgets.
  • Experience in developing, procuring, and managing consultant contracts.
  • Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent PM experience.

  • Plusses:
  • Experience writing RFPs/RFQs.

Compensation:

$63/hr to $67/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
