One of our top clients is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Attorney with 1-6 years of experience in Workers' Compensation law to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the legal and procedural aspects of Workers' Compensation claims, including but not limited to:
- Responsibilities:
- Represent injured workers in all phases of Workers' Compensation claims, including initial consultations, case investigations, hearings, and appeals.
- Conduct legal research and analysis, draft legal documents (e.g., pleadings, motions, briefs), and prepare for hearings and depositions.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates and guidance throughout the legal process.
- Manage caseloads efficiently and effectively, meeting deadlines and achieving positive outcomes for clients.
- Collaborate effectively with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff within the firm.
- Stay abreast of legal developments and changes in Workers' Compensation law.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- 1-6 years of experience in Workers' Compensation law
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong work ethic and commitment to client success
- Admission to the Virginia
