We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and passionate Permanent Associate Attorney specializing in Insurance Defense to join our prestigious legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a broad range of insurance defense cases involving premises liability and construction defects. This position offers a unique opportunity to be involved in complex and challenging defense litigation within a collaborative, supportive environment. The role requires a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense cases including premises liability and construction defect matters, from inception through trial preparation and presentation.
2. Provide comprehensive legal analysis and advice to clients, ensuring that they receive the highest quality representation.
3. Conduct thorough and detailed investigations, legal research, and discovery to identify the key facts and legal issues related to each case.
4. Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
5. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations, presenting arguments and evidence in a clear, persuasive manner.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and excellent customer service.
7. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the efficient and effective handling of cases.
8. Stay updated on legal trends and developments in the field of insurance defense, including premises liability and construction defects, to provide the most current and effective representation.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with a focus on premises liability and construction defects.
3. Admission to the State Bar and in good standing.
4. Proven track record of successfully managing a diverse caseload and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
5. Exceptional legal research and writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively in handling complex legal issues.
8. High level of professionalism and ethical standards, with a commitment to providing the highest quality legal representation.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
