Job DetailsResponsibilities:
As a Permanent Associate Attorney, you will play a crucial role in our team. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Conducting extensive legal research to support case preparation and provide sound legal advice to clients.
2. Representing our clients in court, presenting evidence, and making compelling arguments in their favor.
3. Negotiating settlements in complex and challenging cases, using your expert negotiation skills to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.
4. Drafting, reviewing, and revising a wide range of legal documents, ensuring they are accurate, thorough, and compliant with current laws and regulations.
5. Collaborating with other members of our team to develop effective legal strategies and ensure we continue to deliver the highest level of service to our clients.
6. Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in Colorado law and the legal industry more broadly, to maintain and enhance your expertise.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:
1. JD from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to the Colorado Bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on litigation.
4. Proven experience in construction defect, premise liability, and liability claims.
5. Excellent legal research skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to quickly absorb and understand complex information.
6. Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully resolving disputes and securing favorable outcomes for clients.
7. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively present arguments and explain complex legal concepts.
8. Excellent analytical skills, with a logical, problem-solving mindset and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
