Role Description
This is a Full time Associate role, with some flexibility for remote work, we have openings in all offices statewide. The Associate will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing caseloads, attending hearings, providing support to senior attorneys, and collaborating with the legal team.
Qualifications
Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to manage caseloads efficiently, with attention to detail
Strong responsiveness, interpersonal and communication Skills
Understanding of workers' compensation law
Experience in litigation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience in workers' compensation defense, knowledge of California workers' compensation law, and experience appearing at hearings before the California Workers' Compensation Appeals Board.
