We are seeking an Associate Immigration Attorney with at least 4 years of immigration law experience to handle a variety of immigration matters, particularly removal defense cases before EOIR. This is a remote position, but the ideal candidate must reside near a designated EOIR courthouse (Miami, Orlando, Charlotte, or Chicago) to attend hearings as needed. Occasional travel may be required. Responsibilities:
• Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff
• Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneys
• Represent clients in removal proceedings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) and USCIS. Attend court hearings and interviews as required
• Prepare and file motions, appeals
• Conduct client consultations and develop legal strategies
• Stay updated on changes in immigration law and policy
• Collaborate with our legal team in an innovative and team-oriented environment Qualifications:
• Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
• Successful completion of the bar exam
• Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients
Minimum 4 years of experience in immigration law , with a focus on EOIR representation
• Must be located near an EOIR courthouse (Preferably: Miami, Orlando, Charlotte, or Chicago) Compensation: $90,000

Compensation:
$90,000 per year
