What You'll Do:
- Manage a caseload of employment defense matters, from litigation to resolution.
- Take and defend depositions, including those of plaintiffs, PMKs, and expert witnesses.
- Guide discovery strategy and respond to written discovery with support staff.
- Represent employers in state and federal courts, as well as administrative proceedings (EEOC, DFEH, DLSE).
- Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial, including class action and PAGA claims when applicable.
Who You Are:
- Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing with the Bar.
- 3 to 10 years of experience in employment defense litigation.
- Experience with PAGA claims, class actions, and public sector defense (esp. school districts) is a major plus.
Salary/Bonus:
- Competitive Base Salary: $165,000 - $235,000+ (commensurate with experience)
- Bonus Structure: Lucrative yearly and quarterly bonuses
