Dummit, Buchholz & Trapp's San Diego office is seeking a litigation associate with at least 3 years' experience. Current California Bar license is required. Experience in healthcare and/or medical/healthcare training/background is a plus. We are looking for candidates with significant experience in law and motion work, defending and taking depositions as well as a strong background in matter investigation and development. Interested candidates should be proactive, detail oriented and work well in a team environment. Our practice involves the professional liability defense on behalf of hospitals, physicians, and other health care providers as well as representation of healthcare licensees before their licensing boards. We also have available the newest Lexis + AI platform. This position is open for those who wish to work remotely, hybrid or in office full-time.
Salary range is dependent on experience for this position and can range from $110,000 to $150,000 per year and includes a 100% covered employee health benefit among other benefits described below as well as the opportunity to gain from a generous productivity-based bonus program in addition to a reasonable billable hour requirement.
