Trusts & Estates Planning Associate
Location: Blue Bell and Philadelphia, PA
A national law firm with over 1,000 attorneys in 29 offices coast to coast has an opening for a Trusts & Estates Planning Associate in their Taxation & Wealth Planning Department. This position is available in either their Blue Bell and Philadelphia, PA offices. You must have at least 2 years of experience in trusts and estates to join thier growing team.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Must be licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong academic credentials and exceptional research and writing skills.
- Experience in estate planning, trust and estate administration, and related taxation matters, particularly for high-net-worth individuals and complex estates.
- Proficiency in legal research, estate plan analysis, drafting estate planning documents, and reviewing/preparing related tax filings (including Federal estate tax returns).
- Familiarity with planning for family-owned businesses and life insurance structures.
- An LL.M. in Taxation is preferred, but not required.
