We are currently seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney specializing in Commercial Litigation to join our dynamic team. This is a hybrid role that combines the traditional legal practice with the practical application of legal procedures and doctrines in the commercial sector. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and securities litigation, among others. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned legal professional with a strong passion for the law, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

As an Associate Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Represent clients in all stages of commercial litigation, from initiation to resolution, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial.
2. Conduct extensive legal research to analyze and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations applicable to our clients' cases.
3. Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations, helping them navigate complex commercial disputes.
4. Collaborate with a team of attorneys to develop case strategies, considering the potential impact of legal decisions.
5. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an attempt to resolve disputes outside of court.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal news, and changes in the legal industry that could impact current cases.
7. Uphold the highest ethical standards and adhere to professional conduct rules.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Associate Attorney - Commercial Litigation position should possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state of Nevada and in good standing with the state bar.
3. A minimum of 1 year of litigation experience, with a proven track record of success.
4. Exceptional legal research and writing skills, with proficiency in using legal research software and databases.
5. Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of cases, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
6. Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve disputes favorably for clients.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal principles clearly and effectively.
8. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, demonstrating a commitment to achieving the firm's goals.
9. High level of professionalism and adherence to strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
