One of our client is looking for a motivated Attorney to join remotely and represent us in Houston and surrounding areas.
Must be licensed and in good standing with the State of Texas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- The review and approval of new claims within the Attorney's jurisdiction(s). This includes meeting state level goals for consistent case movement.
- Under the direction of the Managing Attorney/Regional Attorney, assists with management and supervision of jurisdictional inventory. This includes exception and queue management.
- Conduct document review and discovery
- Execute documents requiring Attorney's signature
- Communicate with Managing Attorney/Regional Attorney and clients in order to discuss details of cases
- Assist in responding to litigation specific components of all client audits
- Monitor relevant legal rules, regulations, statutes, and case law
- Conduct research and analysis of legal problems
