Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Associate Attorney, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Representing the firm's clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute in civil litigation cases.
2. Interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations in corporate law matters.
3. Preparing and drafting legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
4. Negotiating settlements in civil litigation disputes.
5. Conducting research and analysis of legal problems to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
6. Advising corporate clients concerning transactions of business involving internal affairs, stockholders, directors, officers, and corporate relations with general public.
7. Supervising and directing the work of paralegal and legal assistant staff in the preparation of documents, and the collection, compilation, and utilization of technical information.
8. Managing and overseeing all aspects of litigation matters from the investigation, pleadings, and discovery through the pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal processes.

Job Details

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Associate Attorney position should possess the following:

1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice and in good standing with the State Bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate law and civil litigation.
4. Proven background in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and commercial law.
5. Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical legal advice to clients.
7. Proficiency in managing multiple clients, cases, and projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
9. High level of professional ethics and integrity.
