Associate Attorney

Position Overview

The Associate Attorney will provide legal support and representation for clients in various areas, including litigation, construction, insurance, and commercial law. This role aims to assist senior attorneys in managing cases, drafting legal documents, and ensuring compliance with legal standards to achieve favorable outcomes for our clients.

Our client is a firm that is seeking an associate with 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably on cases in Colorado with an emphasis on coverage disputes, personal injury cases, premises liability lawsuits, or bad faith claims.

The ideal candidate will have experience investigating/defending first- and third-party claims, taking and defending depositions, drafting dispositive motions, and attending court hearings in state and federal courts. Experience drafting coverage opinions and conducting examinations under oath is a strong plus. Excellent research, writing, and independent thinking skills are essential. Candidates will have the opportunity to handle the day-to-day responsibility for all aspects of the matters on which they work, from pre-litigation analysis and client recommendations through trial and appeal.

Qualifications

  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
  • 3+ years of experience in litigation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on site Denver CO
