The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling personal injury cases, excellent negotiation and litigation skills, and a strong commitment to advocating for clients' rights. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, and wrongful death claims. Preference is for those who have trial experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake to resolution.
- Conduct thorough legal research, case analysis, and evidence preparation.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda.
- Collaborate with expert witnesses, investigators, and medical professionals.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients regarding case progress.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal regulations and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Massachusetts and in good standing with the bar.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury law, with litigation experience preferred.
