What You'll Do: As an Associate Advisor you be primarily responsible for supporting the Lead Advisor, and Wealth Management Advisor as well as improving the retention of existing client relationships which supports the Lead Advisor's focus of developing new business. Other duties may include:
- Create financial plans in financial planning software for prospects and current clients.
- Conduct research on topics that may include the economy, financial markets, individual securities, mutual funds, annuities, third-party money managers and alternative investments.
- Perform ongoing fact-finding to uncover organic growth opportunities, multi-generational opportunities, cross-selling and important personal information.
- Complete investment research, create investment proposals for clients, create documents for investment reviews, submit investment allocations to broker dealer operations, and enter current investments into applicable performance measurement software.
- Ensure that all investment management programs are updated on a timely basis.
- Compile and analyze client data to develop financial plans and assemble customized proposals for clients and prospective clients.
- Document processes for all client analysis, financial planning, and research activities in the absence of an operations manager.
What It Takes to Join Our Team:- Four years of advice and relationship management experience or related experience in the financial services industry.
- FINRA Registered Representative, Series 7, 63, 66 required.
- Current state Life and Health Insurance License required.
- Knowledge of key financial, investment, and risk management concepts, strong analytical skills, ability to see big picture and handle details.
- Skilled in basic statistics and quantitative products portfolio theory.
- Excellent people and presentation skills.
- A valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Records are required (Some travel including overnight stays may be required).
- Travel (30-50%) is required including overnight stays.
