Candidates with previous sales experience in a Public relations or Investor Relations environment will be highly considered. The Associate Account Executive will be tasked with developing a business plan and prospecting into a defined set of accounts selling Notified's full portfolio of public relations and investor relations solutions. Additionally, they will be responsible for generating new sales leads and running the sales process from start to finish, and supporting corporate and departmental objectives and goals.


This role is open to Chicago and requires working 3 days per week in our Chicago office at 770 N. Halsted.

60-65K base plus uncapped commissions. We also offer lucrative commission incentives for multi-year deals and for exceeding quota. Salary will be commensurate with experience and location.


Essential Duties:

  • Qualify new business prospects by determining if the prospect matches company services and qualifications, outlining opportunities and benefits of pursuing relationships.
  • Prioritize most promising opportunities to penetrate prospect accounts with Notified
  • Understand the value of PR to your client's businesses and how to achieve valuable results for them
  • Demonstrate expertise in your client's business and industry and know your client's competitors
  • Ensure the unique needs of the client are understood and build business relationships, increase revenue, and exceed the client's expectations

  • Demonstrate the ability to prospect by phone, email, and inmail. Experience with cadence software preferred.

  • Build rapport and establish credibility quickly with prospective buyers
  • Proactively manage and build pipeline, input, monitor, and update opportunities in a timely fashion in company CRM.
  • Identify and coordinate timely involvement of sales operations resources in the sales cycle to improve efficiencies.
  • Attending industry events and onsite customer meetings
  • Meet the assigned bookings quota and achieve weekly/monthly KPIs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, information technology, or a related field

Experience:

2 - 3 years of experience in a sales role or account management role Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Required experience in growing business through closing net new deals.
  • Prior professional experience working with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working both independently and on a team
  • Proven ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills, and time management
