Associate Account Director


HEY THERE. You're an Associate Account Director, and you know how to take the lead. You manage the day-to-day client relationship and keep things running smoothly across the team. You're the steady hand making sure the work gets done right, on time, and with clear communication every step of the way. You support the Group Account Director and Managing Director, but you've got the experience to handle things on your own. Let's get to work and have some fun.


Responsibilities:

  • Build trusted relationships with day-to-day clients to guide the business and the overall working relationship.
  • Have a working knowledge and ability to speak to your clients' KPIs/Business results.
  • Develop strong relationships with partner agency leaders.
  • Know when to pull in leadership to optimize results (pour on the gasoline) or mitigate issues.
  • Create client scopes of work and recommendations in partnership with the Group Account Director.
  • Serve as active and centralized leader of strategic execution and momentum, leading integrated team.
  • Monitor scope, identify and manage scope creep and opportunities for expansion in partnership with GAD.
  • Oversee success tracking and monitoring.
  • Understand mechanics of the creative process and how to get to the best work.
  • Master the communication skills to deliver tough feedback to clients or argue a point of view that supports our team.
  • Get in there deep - have the skill set and know how to drive and influence the Clients' business.
  • Solve problems or concerns as they come up, offer to hunt down insights and information as process evolves.
  • Establish team priorities including what is mandatory vs. what can we think differently about.
  • Lean into the Client Partnership group and provide feedback on what's difficult in your day with suggestions on how to fix or evolve as a team.
  • Be in the work with your team. Their success is your success.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of advertising agency experience.
  • Able to work from our Houston office every Tuesday and Thursday.
  • Experience in professional client relationship management.
  • Proven ability to plan and strategize at a senior level
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple client relationships and tasks at once.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints.
  • Full awareness of creative processes, planning, ecomm management, and media.

Compensation Range is: $92,000 - $115,000 annually depending on experience. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
