As an Assisted Living Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for responding to medical needs of residents, monitoring care delivery, assuring that established standards of care are followed, and to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained. A few of the job duties are shown below:
- Visit new Assisted Living residents upon move-in.
- Respond to emergency calls within the Assisted Living area and work with Martin Health Center Supportive Care Nurse to assess Assisted Living residents for illness and possible admission to the hospital or skilled nursing facility.
- Alert the Director of Assisted Living to condition changes in residents.
- Participates in maintaining accurate service plans for residents and works in collaboration with the Director of Assisted Living, Personal Care Assistants, families, residents, physicians, and other authorized persons and disciplines involved in the care of the resident to facilitate communication and execution of the service plan.
- Daily rounds of residents in Assisted Living apartments as needed.
- Provide treatments to residents as ordered by their physician.
- Provide diabetes management to residents.
- Maintain and oversee medication administration records.
- Supervise certified medication aides
- Rotate on call schedule with Memory Care Coordinator or other designees.
- Assists in establishing departmental regulations and procedures in conformance with administrative and health code guidelines as well as all Westminster Village policies.
- Participates in interviews for prospective team members, supports training of new and current staff and works with the Human Resources office to provide required documentation for team members including evaluations, discipline and other applicable documentation.
- Communicates and works well with all staff at Westminster Village to support the overall mission of the organization.

The salary scale for this position is $77,951 - $84,934.

Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED and Nurses Training Program. Must have current Illinois State License for Registered Nurse. Previous nursing experience in a geriatric setting is preferred. Current CPR certification is required.
