The Assistant Volleyball Coach will support the Head Coach in all aspects of team development, including training, game strategy, recruitment, and academic mentoring. This role involves fostering student-athlete growth, ensuring compliance with NCAA and university policies, and contributing to the overall success of the volleyball program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to the athletic and academic advancement of student-athletes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with recruiting efforts, including evaluating potential student-athletes, attending scouting events, and coordinating campus visits.
  • Support academic monitoring and mentoring to ensure student-athletes maintain eligibility and excel in their studies.
  • Assist in the development of strength and conditioning programs in collaboration with athletic trainers.
  • Analyze game footage and statistics to provide feedback and strategic improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with NCAA, conference, and university regulations.
  • Participate in fundraising, community engagement, and promotional activities to support the volleyball program.
  • Assist with travel logistics, equipment management, and administrative tasks as needed.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of coaching experience at the collegiate, club, or high school level. Collegiate-level playing experience preferred.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds.
