Hammond School is seeking energetic and dedicated part-time Assistant Volleyball Coaches to support our Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Middle School volleyball teams. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to inspire student athletes, foster their love for the game and enhance their teamwork and leadership skills. Collaborate with a passionate head coach and invest in the future of student athletes by developing innovative training strategies that resonate with players. Responsibilities: - Assist in planning and leading practices for Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Middle School teams.
- Provide instruction on fundamental volleyball skills, strategies, and game preparation.
- Support head coaches in game-day coaching and player development.
- Foster a positive and disciplined team culture.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and coaching staff.
Qualifications: - Prior coaching experience or playing experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of volleyball fundamentals and strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with coaching staff and athletic department.
- Passion for mentoring student-athletes and fostering their growth on and off the court.
- Must be available for afternoon practices and games.
Compensation: Stipend based on experience and qualifications
Hours: Flexible afternoon hours
Reporting: Assistant Volleyball Coach reports to the Athletic Director
