This is an amazing opportunity for someone from the General Contracting world to pivot into develop whole joining a highly reputable company. In this role you will work directly alongside the leader of the building & construction group to deliver exciting projects. They are specifically looking for someone coming from a commercial GC who they can train on everything that goes into working in Development.

Client Details

My client is a commercial real estate company focused on industrial developments around the United States with a specific focus in the Southeast. They have been in business for 30 years and are currently looking to grow the building & construction team

Description

  • Their team oversees land acquisition, zoning, entitlements, financing, and the coordination of all consultants, general contractors, and sales/marketing teams
  • You will have direct involvement in day-to-day project management, managing non-union subcontractors, and working closely with leadership to ensure high-quality execution and timely delivery of our developments
  • Manage and oversee new construction of industrial projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Work directly with non-union subcontractors, ensuring quality control and smooth execution
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants, contractors, and vendors
  • Monitor and manage the schedule, budget, and resources for each project
  • Collaborate closely with the leadership team, including the CEO, to drive projects forward
  • Handle on-site project management duties, including inspections, troubleshooting, and resolving project issues as they arise
  • Ensure that all projects meet the company's standards of excellence in construction and design

Profile

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience from a Commercial General Contractor
  • Strong technical knowledge of how to deliver on commercial projects from start to finish
  • A proactive problem-solver with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively
  • Experience managing projects with a range of values, from $5M to $30M
  • Ability to work well with a tight-knit team, including collaborating directly with leadership

Job Offer

  • Base Salary up to $165k
  • Fully covered health benefits and premiums
  • 2 week sabbatical with accompanying $5k travel bonus every 5 years
