About the role

Gersh's New York office is seeking an ambitious Assistant to support Gersh's newly appointed Head of Voice. For consideration, candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of related full-time (post-graduate) experience in the entertainment industry. The ideal candidate knows they want to be a Voiceover Agent, desires to be mentored from a veteran in the field, and is excited to be the right hand to the department head to help build out this new division from the ground up. Prior experience at a talent agency/management company, supporting voiceover talent is preferred. Prior experience within animation or gaming is a BIG plus.


Duties

  • Interface with high profile clients and key players across the entertainment industry.
  • Roll calls and schedule meetings.
  • Calendar management, expense reports, and travel coordination.
  • Generate and schedule auditions as well as coordinate with casting directors, managers, and publicists.
  • Draft email correspondence, send submissions, and track incoming/outgoing materials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Desire to pursue a career as a voiceover agent.
  • Prior experience at a mainstream talent agency/management company, supporting voiceover talent is preferred.
  • Prior experience working in animation or gaming is a big plus, though not required.
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment on a high-volume desk.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Positive attitude, highly organized, and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Willingness to make a 1.5-2-year commitment in the role.

Compensation

$20-22/hour + Full Benefits
