Description

The Assistant Superintendent - Commercial Construction

  • Reporting to the Lead Superintendent
  • Responsible for general supporting contract, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications
  • Work with Superintendent (and project management team) to maintain the project's schedule
  • Ensuring quality control on various aspects of the project
  • Maintain a set of production documents and update daily so an accurate picture of work in place is consistently maintained
  • Maintain and review the safety plan as needed to ensure the project site is up to company standards
  • Assist in maintaining the Construction Management Plan and logistical co-ordination.

Profile

The ideal Assistant Superintendent - Commercial Construction

  • 2+ years of superintendent experience in the commercial construction space
  • Strong communication skills, particularly with subcontractors and other project team members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • a Bachelor's Degree
