What you'll be doing:

  1. Working with the Store Manager, sharing responsibility for the daily operations of the store.
  2. Leading by example and co-managing a small team of 4-6 staff members.
  3. Motivating your team to deliver excellent customer experiences and achieve sales targets.
  4. Building rapport with customers by offering honest advice, exceeding expectations, and reassuring them amidst a wide range of choices.
  5. Working up to 45 hours per week, with additional time paid or taken as time off in lieu.

What you'll need - skills and experience:

  1. Proven experience in retail customer service or sales environments.
  2. Supervisory or junior management experience, preferably in retail or field sales within a hard goods environment.
  3. Practical knowledge of some or all of our product range.
  4. Ability to sell products effectively.
  5. Experience in delivering excellent customer service.
  6. Track record of achieving sales targets.
  7. Confident, enthusiastic team player.
  8. Skills including accuracy, numeracy, and basic computer literacy.
  9. Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  10. Desire to succeed both individually and as part of a team.
