The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) plays a vital role in the daily operations of our store, supporting the general manager while following Global Partners' policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete required daily accounting paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Oversee, develop, train, and hold non-exempt (hourly) staff accountable for maintaining operational standards.
  • Monitor cash handling and inventory levels, assisting in investigations for minor discrepancies.
  • Maintain business records and review accountability sheets as directed by the General Manager or Territory Manager.
  • Perform banking, payroll, invoicing, and other administrative duties per company cash control policies.
  • Manage cash procedures, including deposits and change orders.
  • Adhere to Grand Opening Ready Standards set by Global Partners.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation throughout the store.
  • Maintain store security and safety, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Manage adequate gasoline levels and coordinate deliveries.
  • Engage actively in all promotional initiatives.
  • Promote high levels of guest service consistently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by your General Manager or Territory Manager.

Qualifications
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Capability to work independently.
  • Proficient in counting, reading, and writing accurately.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are necessary.
  • Willingness to work in varying temperatures (e.g., outside, in coolers).
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs and navigating various store areas.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
