We are excited to re-open in Lahaina. We want CocoNene to be known for our high quality, unique, locally made products as well as the friendly, knowledgeable staff who make each guest feel welcomed and happy when they are in our store. We are looking for a full-time positive, driven, upbeat, & people-centric Assistant Store Manager. This means providing unmatched customer service, selling our fun, unique and Hawaii-made gifts/souvenirs to visitors from all over the world, imparting our own unique Hawaii stories with clients and helping to lead & grow the team and store performance. Pay is $48,000 (salary) with the opportunity to earn monthly incentives. Full-time employees are eligible for full benefits that include: medical insurance, 401k, paid time off and an employee discount (25% across all sister brands). Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Customer service/care
- Meeting sales and operational goals
- Support Store Manager with
- Attaining store sales goals
- Hiring/training staff
- Daily store operations
- Other duties as needed
Here is what we are looking for in candidates:
- 2+ years experience in customer service and retail
- Experience in management/supervisory role preferred
- Experience in inventory management preferred
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Must love Hawai'i. Appreciates locally owned-businesses/made products
- Loves people, outgoing & personable, positive attitude
- Thoughtful, active listener, empathetic
- Dependable
- Curious and creative
- Continuous improvement & performance-based mindsets, driven to grow sales
- High school graduate or equivalent
Status and Schedule:
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
