The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) plays a vital role in supporting the general manager with the daily operations of the store, ensuring compliance with Global Partners' policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete daily accounting tasks and ensure timely submission of reports.
  • Supervise, train, and support non-exempt employees while holding them accountable for operational standards.
  • Monitor cash handling and inventory, assisting in investigations of minor discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate business records and review cashier accountability sheets as directed.
  • Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and administrative duties in compliance with cash control policies.
  • Manage cash operations, including deposits and change orders.
  • Ensure store cleanliness and adherence to image standards.
  • Implement safety and security measures, reporting any issues to management.
  • Oversee gasoline inventory and coordinate deliveries.
  • Participate in company promotional initiatives.
  • Promote exceptional guest service at all times.
  • Adhere to company policies and undertake other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Skills in communication, counting, reading, and writing accurately.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required.
  • Capability to work in varying temperatures, including outside.
  • Physical ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and lift up to 25 lbs during your shift.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
