Assistant Site Manager - Internals - Immediate Start (3-Month Contract)

Full-Time Site-Based Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager (Internals) to support the delivery of a large-scale high-rise residential new build in Cardiff. This is a great opportunity to join a well-structured site team on a 3-month contract with immediate start.


Role Overview:

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will assist in managing internal fit-out packages from 1st fix through to completion. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone looking to step up or gain further experience on a major scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the coordination of internal trades (drylining, carpentry, M&E, finishes, etc.)
  • Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with programme schedules
  • Assist with daily site operations, inductions, and health & safety enforcement
  • Liaise with subcontractors and ensure site standards are upheld
  • Report regularly to the senior site team

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an assistant site management role on residential or high-rise builds
  • Strong knowledge of internal fit-out stages
  • CSCS card required; SMSTS or SSSTS preferred
  • Proactive, reliable, and confident on-site
  • Immediately available for a site-based role in Cardiff

Contract Details:

  • 3-month contract
  • 250 per day

  • Based on-site in Cardiff
