Assistant Site Manager

Overview:
We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager on behalf of our client, a leading national housebuilder. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team on a large-scale housing project based in Carmarthen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations

• Ensure that health and safety standards are met at all times

• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and trades on site

• Monitor site progress against programme targets

• Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship

• Ensure compliance with NHBC standards and Building Regulations

• Conduct regular site inspections and liaise with the site team to resolve any issues

Requirements:

• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) essential

• First Aid at Work essential

• Previous experience working on residential housing developments

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure

• Full UK driving licence
