- Owning operational excellence in the form of shop cleanliness and standard opening/closing procedures.
- Assisting with execution of visual merchandising directives in close collaboration with Retail Manager.
- Ability to lift at least 40lbs and assist in receiving and processing shipment.
- At the direction of the Retail Manager, leading the team in completion monthly audits. Own the maintenance of accurate inventory records.
- Interfacing with e-commerce site functions.
RequirementsRetail Assistant Manager skills and qualifications: Retail Assistant Managers need to possess a strong set of skills to perform their duties effectively, including:
- Minimum two years' retail experience with a passion for fashion and service.
- Full-time availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Team leadership, employee management, and conflict resolution in partnership with the Retail Manager.
- Advanced customer service skills, including intervening for service recovery at the associate level and judicious elevation of pressing matters to the Retail Manager as appropriate.
- Comprehensive understanding of the luxury athleisure market.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, and the ability to teach these skills to associates.
- Attention to detail.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office for data entry, creating spreadsheets, organizing information, and formatting documents.
