About the Role

As the Assistant Restaurant Operations Manager at a Wonder location, you will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager with daily operations, ensuring our restaurant runs smoothly and achieves success. You will collaborate closely with the General Manager and other team members to foster a positive work environment, prioritize food and team member safety, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the General Manager in developing, engaging, inspiring, and motivating restaurant staff.
  • Recruit, train, and retain top talent for the restaurant.
  • Assist in reaching operational goals and budget targets.
  • Communicate clearly and consistently about team achievements, priorities, protocols, and operational changes.
  • Exhibit effective floor management by optimizing staff deployment for maximum efficiency.
  • Enhance restaurant sales and service efficiency by addressing operational challenges.
  • Oversee inventory and food safety protocols to ensure accuracy and compliance with shelf life and product dating guidelines.
  • Commit to ongoing training and development in both kitchen and dining room operations to maintain high standards and guidelines.
Food Safety and Team Member Safety
  • Strive for consistent adherence to food safety and security standards.
Customer Service Excellence
  • Ensure all team members consistently deliver outstanding customer service.
Your Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience in restaurant supervision or management (Assistant Manager, Restaurant Manager, etc.) in a high-volume Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or full-service restaurant.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage and develop teams of 15 or more members.
  • A knack for leading and motivating a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a drive for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Professionalism in adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • A strong team player.
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the US.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must have the ability to stand for an entire shift.
  • Must have flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
  • Must possess a current Food Handlers Certification.
Role Details
  • Salary Range: $57,750 - $70,500 per year.
  • Location: King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
