About the Role As the Assistant Restaurant Manager at Wonder, you will be essential in supporting the General Manager to ensure the restaurant operates smoothly and successfully. Collaborate closely with the General Manager and your team to foster a positive work atmosphere, uphold food and team member safety standards, and provide outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities - Support the General Manager in recruiting, training, and motivating restaurant staff
- Assist in achieving operational goals and budget targets
- Facilitate clear communication regarding team achievements and operational updates
- Implement effective floor management to optimize staff efficiency
- Enhance restaurant sales and service by addressing operational challenges
- Oversee inventory management and food safety protocols
- Commit to ongoing training to uphold kitchen and dining room standards
Food Safety and Team Member Safety - Ensure consistent adherence to food safety and security standards
Customer Service Excellence - Guarantee all team members deliver exceptional customer service
The Experience You Have - Minimum of two years in restaurant supervision or management roles within high-volume Quick Service or full-service establishments
- Proven track record of managing and developing teams of 15 or more
- Ability to lead and motivate in a high-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on efficiency and accuracy
- Professionalism and adherence to policies and procedures
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative team player
Requirements - Must be at least 21 years old and legally eligible to work in the US
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Capability to stand for an entire shift
- Open availability including nights and weekends
- Current Food Handlers Certification required
Role Details - Salary Range: $64,350 - $78,750 per year
- Location: Ridgewood, New York
