Key Responsibilities: - Complete all required training, including the Zaxbys Assistant Manager Development Plan and Food Safety certification.
- Enhance guest experiences by leading a team that meets and exceeds expectations.
- Provide ongoing coaching and development to team members.
- Create effective work schedules and plan shift assignments to meet operational needs.
- Lead, supervise, and inspire your team to reach their highest potential and achieve quarterly goals.
- Ensure that service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are maintained consistently.
- Address performance issues with your General Manager and assist with performance reviews.
- Foster a positive workplace culture through recognition and coaching.
- Handle guest and team member complaints respectfully and promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all operational standards, policies, and local laws.
- Utilize management tools for accurate record-keeping.
- Maintain flexibility in duties to assure smooth restaurant operations.
- Ensure team safety by adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Report any human resources or risk management concerns immediately.
- Carry out other responsibilities necessary for effective restaurant operations.
Qualifications: - Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Open availability with the ability to work a minimum of 5 days, totaling 32 to 48 hours per week.
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and organizational skills, with the ability to work well with others.
- 1-3 years of management experience; restaurant management experience preferred.
Physical Requirements: - Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb.
- Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Regular use of hands for grasping and fine manipulation.
- Effective communication skills (speech, reading, and writing).
- Ability to observe and respond to the environment.
- Work in a setting with temperature variations and potential food allergens.
- Safely operate restaurant equipment.
