A Assistant Quantity Surveyor is required for a fit-out project, based in Bracknell. Our client is looking for an experienced and hardworking Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a building and construction project.
Assistant Quantity Surveyor - fit out responsibilities:
- Managing project costs
- Ensure good value for money
- Assisting in cost forecasting
- Monitoring project finances
- Liaising with clients
- Understanding the clients needs
- Estimating the project costs and timelines
- Preparing tender documents
- Managing risks
- Contract administration
Requirements for the Quantity Surveyor role:
- HNC Qualification OR HND Qualification.
- Proficient in quantity surveying software, knowledge of construction processes and materials.
- Strong communication, energy, analytical, negotiation, organisation and problem-solving skills in high pressure scenarios.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction laws and health and safety regulations.
- Previously worked on Refurbs, Fit Out or CAT A / CAT B projects.
