Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the property management operations, ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and that tenants receive exceptional service. This position requires a blend of administrative skills, customer service expertise, and knowledge of property management practices.
Duties
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of property management, including tenant relations and maintenance coordination.
- Provide outstanding customer service to current and prospective tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Manage data entry tasks related to tenant information, lease agreements, and maintenance requests using property management software such as OneSite.
- Maintain organized files for all property-related documentation, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Collaborate with the Facilities Management team to oversee maintenance activities and ensure the timely completion of work orders through CMMS.
- Support the property leasing process by conducting property showings, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements.
- Assist in monitoring property budgets and expenses while maintaining accurate records.
Experience
- Proven experience in customer service roles, preferably within property management or administrative settings.
- Familiarity with property management software such as OneSite is highly desirable.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
- Knowledge of facilities management principles and practices is a plus.
- Understanding of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to property management is beneficial.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
