Job Details:

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Permanent Retail Property Manager. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in retail and commercial property management coupled with a firm understanding of budgeting and reconciliation. This role requires a high level of real estate knowledge, customer service skills, and excellent communication abilities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of retail properties, ensuring the highest level of performance and profitability.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the daily operations of a portfolio of retail properties, ensuring all aspects are running smoothly and efficiently.
2. Develop and manage annual budgets for each property, including forecasting and planning for future expenses.
3. Conduct regular financial reconciliations and prepare detailed financial reports for senior management.
4. Maintain strong relationships with tenants, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
5. Coordinate with maintenance and repair contractors to ensure all properties are in excellent condition and meet all health and safety regulations.
6. Negotiate lease renewals and manage tenant turnover, aiming for maximum occupancy rates.
7. Stay updated on current market trends and real estate regulations, using this knowledge to enhance property performance and profitability.
8. Collaborate with marketing teams to promote properties and attract potential tenants.
9. Handle any property-related issues or emergencies promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 1 year of experience in retail and/or commercial property management.
2. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
3. Proven experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of real estate industry, including market trends and regulations.
5. Exceptional customer service skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with tenants.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle property-related issues and emergencies calmly and efficiently.
8. Proficiency in property management software, Yardi and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple properties simultaneously.
