Assistant Property Manager & Social Media Manager - 1099 Contractor


We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic individual to fill the combined role of Assistant Property Manager & Social Media Manager. This hybrid position will assist in overseeing the management of fully furnished homes while also enhancing our online presence through social media marketing. The ideal candidate will be experienced in property/hotel management and possess a creative flair for engaging with audiences on social media and creating an online present.


Key Responsibilities


Social Media Management

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy to enhance the property's brand, vacancies and community engagement.
  • Create, schedule, and manage content across social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, etc).
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews to maintain a positive online presence.
  • Develop targeted advertising campaigns to promote available units.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Support marketing campaigns for available units and vacancies using social media and other digital tools.
  • Track social media performance metrics and create monthly reports with insights and recommendations.

Assistant Property Manager

  • Assist with leasing, tenant relations, and coordinating property tours for prospective residents.
  • Oversee cleaning and stocking of residences to ensure homes are prepared for new guests.
  • Handle maintenance requests promptly and ensure properties are well-maintained.
  • Input and maintain accurate data related to guest stays, property conditions, and inventory.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the properties.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and content management tools.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics and scheduling tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in property management, hospitality, or customer-facing roles (e.g., hotel, college dorms).
  • Customer-service oriented with strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
