Requisition ID: 39917BR Travel Required: Up to 25% Major/Essential Functions: + Provides inpatient and outpatient adult neurology clinical services, including serving as a stroke consultant in assigned neurology outpatient clinic and providing consultation services at affiliated hospitals + Conducts neuro-interventional procedures and provides neuro-critical care and stroke services Supervises resident clinics and participates in the overall teaching program for teaching and training of residents and medical students, to include the presentation of lectures + Engages in advancement of scientific knowledge through research and/or scholarship Serves the academic community through participation in institutional governance, such as committee work + Contributestothecommunitythroughacademically-relatedpublicservicecomplementary + to the institutional mission + Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations; + Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures Upholds and promotes the values-based culture of TTUHSC El Paso + Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Required Qualifications: + M.D. or D.O. degree + Successful completion of an accredited ACGME Neurology Residency Program + Successful completion of an accredited fellowship program in Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology (ESN) with Neuro-Critical Care (NCC), or Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology (ESN) with Vascular Neurology (VN) + Texas Medical License, or eligible for medical licensure in Texas Board certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology Does this position work in a research laboratory?: No Jeanne Clery Act: The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act is a federal statute requiring colleges and universities participating in federal financial aid programs to maintain and disclose campus crime statistics and security information.
