          The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Michigan State University (MSU) invites applications for a tenure-system junior faculty position in theoretical high energy physics (HEP) to enhance the existing theoretical and experimental efforts in the HEP group. The candidate should have a Ph.D in physics, and be an demonstrate expertise in higher-order calculations in quantum chromodynamics/electroweak physics, and/or in the implementation of these calculations in parton-shower Monte-Carlo programs that can be more directly compared to data. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to carry out forefront research and a commitment to building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment while fulfilling teaching and service responsibilities at MSU.

          Doctorate -High Energy Physics and related field

          The candidate should have a Ph.D in physics and related field

The statements should reflect the candidate's experience/commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and how the DEI activities have been integrated in the scholarly work. The candidate should be prepared to provide contact information for four (or more) references. Letters of recommendation will only be requested for the top applicants.
