The Assistant Project Manager will work in collaboration with the Project Manager to oversee base building projects projects from start to completion. Project types will include major, multi-million dollar commercial & mission critical.

Description

  • Work in collaboration with project team to oversee base building projects from start to completion
  • Project types will include commercial and mission critical, with projects valued between $30M - $500M+
  • Assist with the daily management, coordination, supervision, and successful completion of projects
  • Monitor construction activities and site conditions, and taking corrective actions to non-compliant work
  • Participate in & lead staff meetings
  • Review and compile RFIs, submittals, change requests, and other project financial documentation
  • Assist with overseeing project budget. Lead project buyout with subcontractors and trade partners

Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • +/- 2-5 years of experience within commercial construction
  • General Contracting background
  • Base building experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal staff
  • Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
  • Shown ability to assist with all responsibilities for complex projects
